Beach restaurant Paal 28 is looking for an

You are, together with a diverse team, responsible for the inns and outs of our kitchen.

Your activities and responsibilities are amongst others:

• Preparing a la carte dishes during lunch and dinner time according to our recipies.
• Independent as well in teamwork preparing a la carte dishes, portioning and garnishing dishes consistent with our instruction, prescription, working methods and presentation of our product.
• Receiving, controling and storing food-orders and other products.
• Securing preservability and hygiene.
• Preparing lunch and dinner through strict planning and mise en place preparations.
• Live up to instructions according to safety, ARBO and HACCP.
• Cleaning workroom, equipment and machines according to the sets norms.
• Instructing collegues with regard to activities in the kitchen and snack-corner.
  

Your profile:

• Preferably a finished Intermediate Vocation Training in cheftraining.
• An eye for quality and planning abilities.
• A few years of relevant working experience.
• A strong personality.
• Persistence.
• Teamspirit.
• Not a 9 to 5 mentality.
• You are in other words a tough fellow who likes a challenge!!
  

We offer:
A multiple job at one of the most pleasant and busiest beach restaurants in North-Holland. You will work in a diverse and motivated team in a rather pleasant and dynamic workscape with a view at one of the nicest beaches of entire Holland. We also give you an opportunity to develop yourself into a kitchen manager who becomes responsible for all activities and decisions made in the kitchen. Of course this step is only possible if your work in the kitchen is appreciated enough and when we think that you are the person for this job. Moreover, we offer an allowance based on the collective agreement for the catering industry according to your knowledge and expertise.
